We are excited to announce a collaboration with The Steve Sinnott Foundation, Grief Encounter and World Wide Pictures who together have created a competition for schools to highlight the launch of a children’s film called EMU Runner in autumn 2021.
In the film by Imogen Thomas, Gemma, a ten-year old Indigenous Australian girl, finds her own way through grief after the loss of her mother. Each Rainbows school with Year 6 children and above will receive a personal invite via email.
If you do not receive your invite please contact Eleanor.firstname.lastname@example.org
The three charities have created a learning pack for teachers about bereavement and grief, which are subjects central to the film and it offers information on how different cultures observe grief. This pack will be sent to each school and is available to download below.
