Rachel Molyneux, Registered Director for Wrexham Diocese in North Wales has been doing her annual knitting project. Two ladies helped her to knit over 400 little chicks, hens and rabbits. These were sold to friends, Rainbows supporters and local organisations in health and education and, with Gift Aid, £1723.88 was sent to Rainbows Bereavement Support GB.
Rachel would like to give a Special mention, and thankyou to Asda, Queensferry store, who donated 50 Creme Eggs free of charge towards the project.
This is a fantastic achievement and has beaten the amount raised in previous years.
The little army of characters is very popular and people are starting to ask, before Easter, if any will be available.
Rachel promises to continue to commit to this annual project for as long as she is able.
