We are excited to announce a collaboration with The Steve Sinnott Foundation, Grief Encounter and World Wide Pictures who together have created a competition for schools to highlight the launch of a children’s film called EMU Runner in autumn 2021.
In the film by Imogen Thomas, Gemma, a ten-year old Indigenous Australian girl, finds her own way through grief after the loss of her mother. Each Rainbows school with Year 6 children and above will receive a personal invite via email.
If you do not receive your invite please contact Eleanor.clarke67@gmail.com
The three charities have created a learning pack for teachers about bereavement and grief, which are subjects central to the film and it offers information on how different cultures observe grief.
