Last year The Rose Learning Trust made a commitment to support our RainbowsGB charity and pledged to raise £100 in each of its schools to support the work of RainbowsGB through the Rainbows 300 initiative.
These are the Schools from The Rose Learning Trust (https://www.roselearning.co.uk ) who took part :
Richmond Hill Primary Academy
Woodfield Primary School
Balby Central Primary Academy
Hatchell Wood Primary Academy
Owston Park Primary Academy
Lakeside Primary Academy
Crowle Primary Academy in partnership with The Isle of Axholme Lions
The Rose Learning Trust was inspired to support RainbowsGB following contact from Paul and Debbie Mellors of The Rainbow Connection Choir group: (About Us | UK | Rainbow Connection (rcchoirs.com) who have been active supporters of RainbowsGB for some years.
Helen Harrison (Chief Executive Officer: The Rose Learning Trust) said:
“Although things became a little more difficult to fundraise because of Covid-19 restrictions, we did it! All our schools went the extra mile and continued with their fund raising efforts raising £680 in total. We are very proud of them all! Crowle Primary Academy worked in partnership with The Isle of Axholme Lions raising £80 each; a huge thank you to the Lions for their support.
Ordinarily we would have loved to present the cheques in person, but due to the current Covid-19 situation have opted for the next best thing – a short video expressing our thanks and our commitment.”
