Eleanor Clarke, our National Co-Director (South) is leaving RainbowsGB to start her training as an Integrative Psychotherapist.
As Chair of Trustees and on behalf of all trustees I want to thank Eleanor for everything she has brought to RainbowsGB. She has been such an enthusiastic supporter of our work and helped us to develop our work in supporting children, young people and adults who are experiencing bereavement and loss. We will miss her greatly and wish her every success in her future work as a psychotherapist. Eleanor has promised to stay in touch with RainbowsGB.
When she was asked what she would miss most about Rainbows she described her colleagues across the board as; “The friendliest, most passionate people you are likely to meet”. She also spoke about a “Culture of Kindness” that she had experienced and observed during her time with RainbowsGB. This is a wonderful testament to our work.
The trustees have asked Sharon Melia-Craven to consider the role as National Director for RainbowsGB and we are delighted that she has accepted this new role. Sharon will continue to develop greater ties between the South and North whilst supporting the exciting developments that are happening across all regions. We will keep you posted!

=================================================================================
It has been a pleasure to work with Eleanor as Co-Directors for Rainbows.
Bringing new skills and experiences, Eleanor has contributed a great deal to the work of Rainbows in the South and Nationally. We have worked very well together and I will miss the support we gave each other in our roles.
I wish Eleanor every success in her work and studies to become a psychotherapist and look forward to hearing about her progress.
I am delighted to have been asked by the Trustees to take on the role of National Director, covering the north and south.
I look forward to working with the Rainbows family in the south to promote and further our presence in more schools whilst supporting existing Registered Directors and Facilitators in the great work they do.
Sharon Melia-Craven (National Director Rainbows Bereavement Support GB)
